Have you seen the Vale Life Photo Corner Facebook Group? Do you love photography? More importantly, do you love the Vale? If the answer to both questions is yes, then we’d love to have you aboard. All we ask is that if you do live outside the Vale of Glamorgan, your images are of the Vale. If you live in the Vale, then we’d love to see shots from far and wide (but preferably local – because that’s what we’re celebrating).
The shots can be of people, life, landscape, the city, pets, wildlife – anything really. There are already over 300 members and when we get enough members, we may bring in daily or weekly themes.
So if you’re an amateur snapper or a pro photographer, it really doesn’t matter to us. It’s a friendly group. Just have a go. We don’t mind what you use to take them either. A film camera is fine (old school) or a digital slr is good, as is a phone (in fact we get some superb submissions from smartphones).
We’re also looking for admins, so if you’re keen and have a couple of hours a week, we’d love to hear from you.
