An extremely busy week that brought the Penarth community together raising money to help keep our local RNLI hero’s kitted out with the best kit, training and equipment – the week of fashion, food, fun and friendship raised over £11,000 which goes a long way to help save lives at sea.
With great passion from the RNLI fundraising team, local businesses, the crew and more importantly, the community, they are all coming together again to hopefully put on a more spectacular event than last year.
This year’s events will take place in a variety of locations In Penarth town including shops, bars, cafés, Penarth Pavilion, Penarth Yacht Club and Penarth Lifeboat Station itself with the events encapsulating fashion, beauty, food and drink; Fish Suppers, and even a Bollywood Evening to give you a taster.
Further details on how to attend any of the events will be in a future issue or look out for news on www.penarthfashionweek.co.uk.
If you’d like to be involved by holding your own event, sponsoring an event or providing a raffle or auction prize please get in touch.
