What excites you about the work you do?
It has to be said weddings and events really excite me and get my creative juices flowing. I love creating a style or a theme and love a project where I can create a vision that I have in my head.
What has been your greatest achievement to-date?
Providing arrangement for royalty has probably been my greatest claim to fame.
What makes me a cut above the rest?
It’s the personal touch that I give to customers. Being good at what you do is one thing. Being a people person and going above and beyond expectations is another thing entirely.
Do you have any future plans that you can share?
I would love to open another shop one day but the key is finding another suitable location. Watch this space!
Describe the passion behind your work?
Enthusiasm! I still to this day get very excited about my job. Consistently thriving to make the shop look the best it can be at all times and, of course, my outside displays. After all, people buy with their eyes, so presentation is everything!
You supply flowers to local businesses. Can you say who?
I’m very fortunate to be able to work with many great local businesses including James Sommerin, Holm House, Porsche, Etc and The Hair Business, to name but a few.
Who would you like to work for?
I have worked for royalty which is a great coup but, without sounding cliché, to me, every customer gets treated like royalty when they shop at The Florist.
