There is a boutique in Cowbridge called Colours, but the fine emporium of fashion of that name is not what has inspired this piece. No, this time we’re paying a few well earned compliments to some of the town’s more colourful buildings.

When you’re in business, it’s certainly good to stand out from the crowd but sometimes, shall we say, businesses can be accused of doing so in quite a garish fashion. Not so here. We think these particular businesses have got it just right.
This lovely little property off the high street also caught our eye. We sense it’s a bit Marmite with the locals but we can’t help ourselves – the white window frames pop against the gorgeous mustard yellow – we love it.
