Strangely, you don’t have to be able to actually write. You may not be great with words or grammar, but you may have a great idea. And, sometimes, that’s all you need to get the ball rolling. And, trust me, you’re never too old, or too young. Here are ten compelling reasons why you should pick up that pen, or dash to the keyboard and start writing.

EVERYONE HAS A BOOK IN THEM
Believe you can…

Start writing today!
In essence, writing a book transcends mere literary creation; it’s about the expedition, the impact, and the enduring legacy you leave. So, what are you waiting for? Begin penning your masterpiece today. Or not!

You may not be a great writer, but you have a great story. We can certainly help you get it into print by writing and editing it for you. So many people publish books but without actually writing themselves. So, they employ ghost writers to get their thoughts down on paper. It’s a perfectly reasonable practice.

THE PROCESS
How we can help…

Concept or subject matter
We can help you get your idea sketched out. It’s always best to do a rough draft of your thoughts.

Writing and editing
You may be entirely comfortable with this part of the process. If you’re not, no problem, we can write it for you
or with you.

Editing and proofreading
We have expert editors on board and proofreaders who can ensure your book is grammatically correct. Let’s face it, no one is punctuation perfect.

Your book will need to be laid out (typeset was the old school term). We have in-house designers and typographers ready to ensure your book looks and reads beautifully. You’ll also need a cover design – and yes, we have that covered excuse the pun.

Photography
You might need some photography, or images sourced. Again, that’s something we’re very used to looking after.

Printing
Whether it’s digital, low run, litho or web offset, we have over forty years’ experience. You might want ten or ten thousand, whatever the size, whatever the quantity, we can advise; you’ll be in safe and capable hands.

Distribution and sales
We have the knowledge to help you market and sell your book. Whether it’s a book about family history, an industry journal, novel or autobiography, we can help you get it published.
