There’s something rather special about seeing local talent take inspiration from across the world – and bringing it home to the Vale.
Justine Bullock, founder of The Tap End in Pontyclun, has built a reputation for creating beautifully designed, high-end bathrooms for clients across South Wales and beyond. But behind many of her ideas lies a destination that continues to influence her work time and time again – Marrakech.
Known as the Red City, Marrakech is a place of colour, texture and craftsmanship, where intricate tiles, layered interiors and hidden riads create an atmosphere unlike anywhere else. It’s a city that has clearly left its mark on Justine’s creative thinking, encouraging a bold use of pattern, materials and design detail.
From the calm of courtyard gardens to the vibrancy of the souks, the inspiration she brings back from her travels can be seen in the thoughtful, expressive spaces created by her team at The Tap End.
