Jennifer Hobbs-Roberts is a publisher, editor and lifestyle writer based in South Wales and is Group Managing Editor of the Life-style magazine series, which includes Vale Life, Travel Life, Oxford Life, City Life and Life-Styled, along with a range of specialist publications, websites and book projects produced under the Good Life media brand.
As editor of Vale Life, the premier lifestyle magazine for the Vale of Glamorgan, Jennifer has helped shape the publication into one of the region’s best-known lifestyle titles, recognised for its engaging editorial style, strong photography and support for independent businesses, travel, fashion, food, interiors, health, wellbeing and modern living. The magazine combines local features with wider lifestyle content and is read both in print and online across the UK and internationally.
Jennifer has worked in publishing, marketing, public relations and media for more than 45 years and has been involved in the production of hundreds of magazine issues, promotional publications and editorial features. Together with her husband, Creative Director Mark Roberts, she founded a ‘Life’ magazine series in 2007, developing it into a growing group of lifestyle titles and websites with readers in more than 160 countries worldwide.
Alongside her editorial work, Jennifer is well known for her interest in fashion, travel and contemporary lifestyle trends, and has been featured in regional press and business publications as one of Wales’ most influential businesswomen. She has also appeared in features highlighting Wales’ best-dressed women and continues to write and contribute to lifestyle articles across the Life magazine titles and associated websites.
She is also linked with the website Life-Styled, which reflects her personal interest in fashion, interiors, travel, health and wellbeing, subjects that regularly influence the editorial direction of the magazines.
Jennifer continues to work as a hands-on editor, combining day-to-day involvement in the production of Vale Life with the ongoing development of new publishing and media projects.
