Why did you choose to work with Sea2See eyewear?
While we carry a fabulous range of designer eyewear at our practices, we are mindful that we need to “Do Good, Feel Good and Look Good”. We have linked up with Sea2See as we wholeheartedly agree with their concerns of sea contamination by plastics. Davies & Jones are committed to doing everything we can to support sustainability. Our ethos has always been to care for our customers, the community and our planet.
What are the raw materials of Sea2See glasses?
We all need to wake up to the fact that every second 256 kilos of plastic
ends up in our oceans. Each pair of glasses is made from 100% recycled ocean plastic and made in Italy, meeting the requirements of any optical market.
Typically who are Sea2See customers?
I think a lot of Davies & Jones customers care deeply for the environment. I believe the brand will be very popular.
How have the Sea2See glasses been received?
The mantra for the Sea2See company is their glasses are sold to people who “Do Good, Feel Good and Look Good” and these are the customers who are buying the products. These are Davies & Jones customers. We all need to do our bit to save our oceans and we support their waste to fashion mantra.
AOP AWARDS 2020 – Davies & Jones Finalist
Not unaccustomed to winning or being nominated for awards, Cath and Dan recently represented Davies & Jones in the AOP Awards 2020 (Excellence in Optics).
Davies and Jones and were delighted to be finalists and beat off stiff competition from all over the UK. The Awards Ceremony was held in London recently. They would like to thank all of their customers who voted for them.
Cath and Dan also took the opportunity of visiting a trade fair to check out new products.
