If you were fortunate to attend the Travel Exhibition at Hensol Castle in April, you’ll already know it was something special.

A Fantastic Day at the Hensol Castle Travel Exhibition
Set against the stunning backdrop of Hensol Castle, the event brought together travel lovers, industry experts, and dreamers alike for an inspiring day of holiday planning. And with the sun shining from start to finish, it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting.

A Picture-Perfect Day for Travel Inspiration
From the moment doors opened at 11am, there was a real buzz in the air. Visitors poured in throughout the day, making it clear just how much appetite there is for travel right now. Whether people were planning a once-in-a-lifetime cruise, a luxury escape, or a family adventure, there was something for everyone.

The venue itself added to the magic. Hensol Castle, with its lakeside views and grand surroundings, provided a truly beautiful space to host such a vibrant event. It’s not every day you browse holiday brochures in a castle!

Expert Advice & Packed Talks
One of the standout features of the exhibition was the variety of travel agencies and specialists available on the day. Attendees had the chance to chat one-to-one with experts, ask questions, and get tailored advice for their next getaway.

The travel talks proved especially popular, with audiences of around 60 to 70 people attending each session. From cruise insights to destination highlights, these talks offered valuable inspiration and insider knowledge – perfect for anyone looking to book their next trip with confidence.

A Moving Musical Moment
Adding a truly memorable touch to the day, the Cowbridge Male Voice Choir delivered a stunning live performance. Their powerful voices filled the venue, and when they sang the iconic Welsh hymn Calon Lân, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. It was a heartfelt moment that brought people together and added a real sense of community to the event.

Brochures, Bookings & Big Plans Ahead
By the end of the day, it was clear just how successful the exhibition had been. Visitors left with armfuls of brochures, plenty of ideas, and – no doubt – a few holidays already in the planning stages.

With so much interest and engagement, it’s safe to say that bookings are sure to follow in the coming weeks. Events like this remind us just how exciting it is to plan a trip and how valuable it is to have expert guidance along the way.
