Mark your calendars for Sunday, 8th June 2025, as St Donat’s Castle in Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan, opens its doors for the much-anticipated Summer Fayre.

From 10am to 6pm, immerse yourself in a day of activities, local craft, food and drink traders set against the backdrop of this beautiful 12th-century historic venue.​

Wander through over 60 indoor stalls nestled within the castle’s charming rooms and arts centre, showcasing a diverse range of handcrafted jewellery, ceramics, textiles, and gourmet treats. Outdoors, indulge in international cuisines offered by street food vendors while enjoying live music on the Top Lawn overlooking the sea. For younger attendees, the family magician ‘Simon Sparkles’ will perform in the Tythe Barn, ensuring entertainment for all ages. ​

Beyond the stalls and performances, explore the castle’s 122-acre campus, featuring original Tudor gardens and serene woodlands. For the adventurous, additional activities such as archery, climbing experiences, and swimming sessions in both indoor and outdoor pools are available for booking.
