If you’re a retro or vintage fan like me, then Happy Days Vintage in Cowbridge, Vale Of Glamorgan has to be on your list of must visits.
It’s jam-packed with weird and wonderful things and also serves food, and very good home-made food at that. Our recent visit included a lovely beef stew, crusty bread and a decent cup of tea – very warming, even if it was a gorgeous autumn day.
Incidentally, if it is sunny, you’ll want to nip down the lane (less than a minute) for a stroll around the Physic Garden, an absolute oasis of calm in this lovely market town.
At Happy Days you’ll find, clothing, bric-a-brac, furniture, signs, toys, soft furnishings, instruments, garden tools, records and tons more. There really is something for everyone and the staff are really lovely and friendly.
