We recently signed up with Domestic & General to protect some of our household appliances. I must confess I have read mixed reviews but the peace of mind that plans like this offer tend to outweigh any reservations.
We haven’t got off to the best of starts as an engineer was booked in to fix our washing machine but didn’t turn up (stayed in all day). When I called them, they apologised as you’d expect, and said that the engineer couldn’t find the property. Given he had our telephone number and no calls or texts were received, I’m thinking not a great deal of effort was made.
So, right now, the jury is out on the standard of service. We’ll see.
