British restaurant, steakhouse, tea room, cafe… Hilary And iain’s By The Sea is many things to many people. Overlooking the Bristol Channel in Ogmore-by-Sea, where it widens and heads for the Atlantic, is where you will find this cool, quirky little café/bistro.
Products and services offered
This is home cooking at its very best. From Iain’s hand cut steaks, a selection of the freshest fish dishes and their famous lasagne are just a few examples on the menu. In addition to their vegetarian and children’s options, you will be spoiled for choice when calling for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Hilary’s homemade desserts and cakes are now legendary, so try to leave room for one!
The bistro also has a new look with new floors, table settings and a “freshen up” inside and out.
Taste-wise, probably the benchmark for Sunday lunch (we think it is), and it enjoys a truly stunning view (you should see the sunsets), Hilary and Iain’s really is perfect.
