It’s no surprise then that Gok Wan himself chose Colours to showcase their brands at one of his recent fashion brunches.
The room at The New House Hotel, Thornhill, was literally buzzing with 200 women enjoying a Fashion Show featuring ten of the best local boutiques, hair salons and make-up artists, showcasing their brands and talents.
Why did Gok Wan’s team choose Colours of Cowbridge?
That’s an easy one to answer. Owner Julie Jeans, sister Ruth and Nicola offer brands such as Zeila, Cabotine, Gina Bacconi, Frank Lyman Design, Michaela Louisa, Casamia, Jayley Collections, Coletta, Pomodoro and Goya Gowns, shoes by Lunar, Heavenly Feet and Lotus, hats and fascinators, day bags, clutch bags for special occasions, wraps and ponchos suitable for casual daywear, evening and special occasion wear in sizes 8 to 24.
We were particularly excited to show our new brands; Smash Lemon which are fun and vibrant with a good price point, Foil, a trendy brand from New Zealand and Intown/Miss Barron/Soft ‘B’ which are again fun and quirky. “I have always loved Gok and was so excited to meet him,” says Julie. “He was just as he comes across on TV – genuine and funny. We chatted about how we love to dress women of every shape and size, giving them a much- needed con dence boost.”
