Blu Hair Design have always been a salon to be one step ahead of the trends. As more and more of us want to enjoy the benefits of beautiful hair but also care about how our hair products are made.

That’s why Blu Hair Design work with the Wella Professionals brand. They have recently launched a vegan brand which is being very well received by customers. We chat to owners Hayley and Alexis Williams to find out more.

Why do you and your customers love the Wells Professionals products?
Wella is a brand that specialises in hair care, styling and colouring products and are leaders in the marketplace. They have now launched we/Do Professional, a fully vegan range and we were very keen to be able to offer these products to our clients.

What does we/Do Professional offer?
Not only are the products fantastic but they also help to fight the increasing problem of ocean plastic ruining our environment. For instance, for every product bought, eight plastic bottles are removed from the environment. The bottles used are 100% recyclable. As a salon, we’re conscious of how we can help the environment through sustainability and living greener.

Not only are the bottles recyclable but the ingredients are cruelty free International approved, Vegan Society Certified, contain no sulfates or silicone, the ingredients used are of natural origin, dermatologically tested, are professional performance approved and fight ocean plastic.
What are the hero products in the range?
Customers love the No Plastic Shampoo Bar, the Sulphite free shampoos and conditioners and the range of hair masks for fine, normal or damaged or coarse or very damaged hair.

What has been the response of clients?
Fantastic! I think we can all agree that small changes can make a big difference and weDo/ is encouraging us all to make more environmentally conscious decisions when making hair and beauty purchases; by looking at the product ingredients, packaging and certifications which have a minimum impact on our world.
