The women from Dinas Powys Women’s Institute posed for a 2025 ‘Calendar Girls’ style calendar in support of Cardiff and Vale Health Charity’s Breast Centre Appeal.
The calendar was launched at a coffee morning during Breast Cancer Awareness month. The group sold out their initial 300-print run within days and ordered a further print run to satisfy demand.
Twelve of the lovely ladies also attended the recent Gold Tie Gala Ball, where they managed to sell a further forty copies – with all funds raised going directly to our Breast Centre Appeal.
They were supported with sponsorship from local businesses and assistance of Barry photographer Sian Lewis.
The Breast Centre at University Hospital Llandough treats between 450 and 500 new breast cancer patients every year.
