If you like walking and exploring as we do, there are plenty of pretty villages in the Vale Of Glamorgan. One of our favourites is near the village of Michaelston-le-Pit.
The walk known locally as the Salmon Leaps can be accessed via Dinas Powys and there is a sign near the square which includes a map and directions.
The view you see here is just above the weir and is a beautiful spot to just sit and contemplate – very peaceful. In spring the woodland is full of wild garlic and in autumn, you’ll see some impressive fungi if you look hard.
Where are your favourite walks in the Vale Of Glamorgan? We’d love to know.
