The Vale Resort in South Wales has achieved an Aim Secure accreditation and joined the Meeting Industry Association (MIA) – the UK’s only recognised quality standard for the meetings, conference and events industry.
The Aim Secure accreditation is granted to suppliers who demonstrate commitment to operational excellence and legal requirements and assure its customers of quality, safety and professionalism.
To achieve this accreditation, the venue had to meet a set of strict criteria including the quality of its meeting and events facilities; commitment to delivering a healthy and hygienic environment; service delivery; compliance with legislation and commitment towards diversity and inclusion.
Richard Williams, national agency manager at the Vale Resort, said: “We’re delighted to be accredited by such a highly regarded platform. Joining the MIA and achieving the Aim Secure accreditation has helped bolster our status as one of the leading meeting and conference venues in Cardiff and South Wales, and is a testament to the hard working team we have here at the Vale Resort.”
The Vale Resort can cater for groups of 10 to 700 delegates with a choice of 15 multi-functional meeting and conference suits. The largest of its conference rooms is the Castle Suite, providing conferencing facilities for up to 700 delegates theatre style and 420 for a banquet or dinner.
The onsite Hensol Castle is also a popular corporate venue and can be hired exclusively. Its Courtyard Hall can host 320 delegates theatre style and 200 delegates banquet style, while four smaller meeting rooms can accommodate between 60-120 delegates per room theatre-style. Delegates can enjoy distilling their own bottle of gin as part of a corporate team building package.
Other team building activities that can be facilitated on or off site at the Vale Resort include golf, orienteering, archery, off-road driving, assault courses and spa days.
