Occasionally visitors to Barry Island in The Vale of Glamorgan get parted form their posessions: wallets, jewellery, pets, you name it, it all goes bye-bye on Barry island. Well, if you do lose something, it may be that someone will find it and hand it in. They’re generally a nice bunch on the Island – plenty of chaps roaming around with mine-sweepers (metal detectors).
Barry Island Lost & Found Facebook group is a place where people post things they find and where people also post things they’ve lost or mislaid.
It’s been quite successful at reuniting people with their belongings. We hope you’ll never need it, but if you do, someone on there might be able to help.
