Enchante, the exquisite boutique furniture business in Cowbridge is bucking the trend during lockdown and doing an amazing trade! Owner Suzanne Dickenson says, “For us, people have been making use of their time and investing in their homes and gardens. I’ve never sold so many sofas and rattan garden furniture in my entire life! Our suppliers are asking us if we want rattan furniture, hot tubs, fire pits swimming pools. Whatever my customers want, we will be able to get for them.”
Enchante has been a helping hand too. “We had NHS patients and flood victim customers calling us for help. Our drivers have been up and down the motorway delivering to the less fortunate and vulnerable with masks and gloves for safely delivering to the door only.
Our drivers have been delivering sofas, along with bread and milk! It has been a busy time but worth the effort given how happy we are able to make our customers with their purchases.”
Suzeanne adds, “There is virtually nothing we cannot source, even greenhouses and garden summer houses, the list goes on. We have suppliers of everything available at our fingertips. If the customer can’t find it, we will do our best to – and usually do.”
