What is Wooden Tops best known for Sophia?
We’re probably best known for buying and selling pre-loved furniture including wooden antique, vintage and retro furniture, and Chesterfields. We also paint furniture and kitchens by hand or by spray painting and we are also soda blasting specialists – but we offer a lot more besides.

Please tell us more?
We are stockists of the fabulous Frenchic furniture paint and customers come for miles to buy this from us. It’s great for indoor and outdoor use. It’s not full of nasties and can even be used indoors without fear of inhaling chemical fumes. We stock a large array of colours and finishes. We also stock Polyvine Varnish and Fiddes and Sons Furniture Wax.

I see you’re selling giftware items as well.
Yes, customers are loving these. They are perfect for adding a bit of colour and interest to the home. Our Wrendale Designs pieces are very popular as are the Thornbush Hill candles and diffusers.

What else are customers buying right now?
We have a great selection of small and large mirrors. The large mirrors are fab for standing against a wall (not all mirrors need to be fixed). It’s quite a trendy look right now. Also popular are our angel wings and stag heads. Great for a conversation piece. They also look good in bars, cafes, barber shops – a very distinctive look.
