Every year this wonderful market town in the Vale Of Glamorgan goes above and beyond when it comes to Remembrance Day.

Cowbridge RemembersThe main high street in Cowbridge is lined with large, red poppies attached to lamp posts but it’s the fact that someone has taken the time to write the names of the fallen heroes on each one is nothing short of wonderful.

Apparently, other villages in the area also do the same and it’s quite inspiring to see.

The Poppy Appeal is the Royal British Legion’s biggest fundraising campaign held every year in November, the period of Remembrance. This year, they mark the end of the WW1 centenary by saying Thank You to all who served, sacrificed and changed our world.
